Don't4get is a reminder and notification application that helps users create, manage, and receive scheduled reminders. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data when you use the App. By using Don't4get, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the App. Information You Provide includes: name (if provided during sign-up), email address or phone number (if authentication is enabled), reminder content (titles, notes, schedules, time settings), user preferences (notification settings, time zone, app settings), and customer support communications. Automatically Collected Information includes: device information (model, OS version, device identifiers), app usage data (features used, interaction timestamps), crash logs and performance diagnostics, and IP address (for security and abuse prevention). Reminder and Notification Data stored includes: reminder schedules, notification triggers, and delivery timestamps. This data is required for core functionality of the App.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases: contractual necessity (to provide core app functionality such as reminders, notifications, and account management), legitimate interest (to improve performance, security, and prevent abuse), consent (where required, e.g., optional analytics or marketing communications), and legal obligation (where required by applicable law).
5. How We Use Your Data
We use your data strictly to: provide and operate reminder services, deliver push notifications and alerts, maintain user accounts, improve app performance and reliability, fix bugs and prevent system failures, detect fraud, abuse, or security threats, and provide customer support. We do not sell personal data.
6. Data Storage and Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage with restricted access, role-based access control for internal systems, and regular security monitoring and audits where applicable. Despite these measures, no digital system is completely secure.
7. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers strictly for operational purposes, including cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase or equivalents), push notification services (e.g., Apple Push Notification Service, Firebase Cloud Messaging), and analytics providers (for app performance insights). All third-party providers are required to process data only on our instructions, maintain confidentiality and security, and not use your data for their own purposes. We do not share personal data with advertisers or marketing brokers.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary: account data is retained while the account remains active; deleted accounts are removed within 30–90 days unless legally required otherwise; reminder data is deleted upon account deletion or prolonged inactivity; and logs and diagnostics are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging. After retention periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data (data portability), restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent (where applicable). Don't4get is not intended for children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. We implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, data loss, and misuse or alteration of data. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
